AEROVISION and THALES have made a real flight demo with the FULMAR system to FRONTEX, the EU agency in charge of the borders control of the European Union. The demo took place in the surroundings of Preveza, at the Adriatic coast of Greece, at the end of 2011.
FULMAR was the only European product to show its performance at this demo, together with some other systems from USA and Israel. FULMAR has been designed and manufactured totally in Spain,  and can be integrated into the THALES solutions for Maritime Surveillance.
